Watch the rain fall on Albert park while you enjoy warming up in Mojo.

Overview

Mojo is a great spot to watch the weather through massive walls of glass in the central city. It is a slick, fast-paced cafe which is on a par with the cafes found in New York's Museum of Modern Art and London's Tate Galleries.

The Cafe has awesome coffee - as it should, being part of an international coffee company. But if you're looking to warm up without the caffeine hit of a coffee, Mojo also has a wide range of organic teas, offing both Madam Flavor Organics teas and Artemis Organic Wellness teas to cure you of any winter ills.

The staff are cool and rushed but also very efficient. They play chilled music with a good range from old school jazz to Frank Ocean. If you're looking to get warm, I'd recommend migrating to the end of the cafe with the soft black vinyl stools and red vinyl built in window seat. At the other end outdoor seating is available, looking onto Lorne Street Square -although great views can be enjoyed from pretty much anywhere in the cafe as most of the exterior walls are oversized windows.

Mojo is a great option any day of the week, keeping almost the same hours as the Auckland Art Gallery. Their kitchen keeps slightly different hours and is open from 8:30am to 4pm every day. You can stroll directly into the Auckland Art Galleries permanent exhibition from Mojo, making a really perfect venue for a weekend brunch in particular.
