Cape Bruny Lighthouse
This heritage-listed lighthouse provides sweeping views of the island's rugged coastline.
Overview
No trip to Cloudy Bay is complete without taking the Cape Bruny Lighthouse tour. The heritage-listed 1836 lighthouse is 114 metres above this stretch of rugged Tassie coastline, providing sweeping views across the island and ocean. This is pretty much as remote as you can get on Bruny Island. You can either take a day tour or a sunset tour. They both book out early, so make sure you organise in advance. You can also opt for an overnight tour, though it'll set you back a cool $949.
