A restaurant's menu can only feature so many options. Even somewhere with as great a range as West End's Holloway has to draw the line somewhere — and even with their ever-changing menu. Their usual operation can't offer all the pizza you could dream of every night of the week, so they've launched Pizzartist too. Yes, that boutique eyewear and custom watch design studio that's also a nice place to eat is now a part-time pizzeria.
From Wednesday to Friday, anyone planning to drop by best have that Italian favourite on their mind. Think woodfired pizzas made with fresh, seasonal produce grown in the restaurant’s own backyard, and made on bases of 5,000 spelt grain — the ancient grain used by the ancient Egyptians and then the Romans.
Not only does this new direction mean more mouth-watering meals, but it also means you're more likely to actually get in the door. Since Holloway turned its attention to food last year, they've been one of the most sought-after eateries in town. Now, if you can't get a table, you can always take your pizza home with you.
