Overview

Heraklion's Loggia offers a captivating insight into Crete's ancient past. Regarded as the finest Venetian structure still standing on the island, it was built in 1628 as a gathering place for noblemen to make economic and social decisions.

Although the Loggia fell into disrepair over the years, it was successfully restored in the early 1900s and now serves as Heraklion's town hall. Featuring beautiful stone arches and colonnades, step into the interior arcade to experience Crete's storied history.
