Vreiko Cave

Overview

Crete offers plenty of adventure, with swimming, scuba diving, kayaking, and mountain biking on the agenda. If you're not scared of tight spaces or underground lairs, Vreiko Cave is another activity to add to your thrill-seeking itinerary.

Found about two kilometres from Pefki village, entering this stalactite cave is by heading down a staircase. With two distinct paths leading into separate cave systems, remember to bring sturdy shoes, a torch and, ideally, a travel buddy or two.
