Overview
Take a stroll back through time at Sleep's Hill Tunnel. During Adelaide Fringe, large-scale projections and vibrant light installations will flood through the heritage-listed passage, showcasing its storied history.
Initially constructed as part of the Adelaide–Melbourne railway in the late 19th century, the tunnel has since been used to farm mushrooms and conceal valuable government possessions during WWII. Visitors are invited to explore the historic Adelaide institution from Friday, February 16 to Sunday, March 17, as steam trains and huge mushrooms dance along the walls.
Tickets are $25 for general admission or $18 for concession, $18.75 for families and $16 for the school program. Entry is at 4 Railway Terrace, Panorama, SA.
