Overview

Lining your stomach is essential to partying, and no one knows partying like FINNS Beach Club. The Canggu hotspot has just launched a new dining experience, but it's not lunch or dinner as you know it — it's an entire experience where food is only part of the equation.

Called Zorba, FINNS' new Greek-inspired party restaurant is situated above the infamous lagoon pools, day beds and dancefloors sprawling across the ground floor, and next to the newly launched FINNS VIP area on the first floor. You'll literally be surrounded by party energy from every corner of the restaurant's glass walls. What's more, you can join in on the beach club before your Zorba meal, after it, or both.

Each sitting — and we say "sitting" loosely, as you may end up on your feet for part of it — is a 90-minute experience where guests are served a generous Greek-inspired sharing feast, featuring 20 dishes eaten at long picnic-style tables.

The mezze sharing platters come out in three servings. To start, the Zeus Platter consists of small bites like artisan olives, grilled traditional pork sausage salami and spinach and feta cigars. Then comes the main feast — the Hercules Platter — with Keftedes (meatballs), Horta (marinated greens), Pastitsio (baked macaroni) and more.

Finish it off with Apollo's Dessert: golden bite-sized Greek doughnuts or creamy semolina custard layered in pastry.

Each guest is treated to a toga, slides, and a golden wreath upon entry to fully immerse themselves in the experience, which includes belly dancers, singing, live statues, and musicians who'll surround the shared feasting. Zorba starts from 250,000 IDR (just under $20 AUD) for online bookings, and 500,000 IDR (just under $40 AUD) for walk-ins.

"Dining is one of the highlights of every holiday, but we wanted to create something people would talk about long after they returned home," Beau Whittington, CEO of FINNS Global, said in a press release.

"Zorba isn't simply somewhere to eat, it's somewhere to celebrate. Every service is designed to bring people together through food, music, laughter and shared experiences."

The best part? You'll finish it all off with a friendly plate smashing.

FINNS Zorba is now open at Jalan Pantai Berawa No. 99, Canggu. Head to the website for more information.
