Oxford Street's staple Della Hyde is teaming up with comedy collective LaughMob to host a monthly comedy night in its basement bar. Down for Good Laughs will see a lineup of Australian comedians from around the country come together in a night of booze, American-style eats and (hopefully) a lot of laughs. The first three dates are confirmed as May 16, June 13 and July 18, with doors opening at 5pm and comedy from 7.30pm.

The May 16 gig boasts MC Kyle Legacy, who made his television debut on Russell Brand's Brand X, has opened for Workaholics' Erik Griffin and recently performed a sold-out show at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He'll be joined by headliner Sam Bowring, plus Harry Jun, Bri Ellen and Sam Kissajukian.

Tickets are a tenner online or $15 at the door, with the additional option to pre-purchase the snacks and show package for $39 — this includes entry, reserved seating and a seven snacks. Think cheeseburger sliders, mac and cheese balls, guacamole with black corn chips and brownies for dessert. Plus, on Wednesdays, the bar does $1 wings (as long as you're buying a drink).

Tickets for the first three comedy nights are currently available on the website, with dates and lineup for future months yet to be announced.
