If your idea of a perfect holiday involves getting away from it all, not having your phone glued to your hand and staying in a quaint little abode surrounded by nature, then In2TheWild Tiny Holidays' portfolio of miniature houses has had you covered for a while. The company currently has 23 sites across Victoria, NSW and Queensland, all boasting small structures and ample greenery. And for folks who'd prefer to sleep in a luxurious tent, it's now branching out into glamping.

The newest addition to the In2TheWild Tiny Holidays range is called Kookaburra Ridge, and it offers what all of the outfit's getaways do: a comfortable, well-appointed but small-scale vacation spot, oh-so-much scenery, and no mobile reception or wifi. You'll find it around two hours north of Sydney via car, amidst bushland but also only a short drive to the beach — but the exact locations of In2TheWild's sites are only are shared just a few days before your stay.

Here, there's actually space for two groups of four to stay — in two bell tents, each located around 100 metres away from each other. So, you can make the trip with some mates and book out both, or just opt for one tent with your nearest and dearest. Bookings start at $289 per night per tent, or $549 for the entire site for a night.

Whichever you choose, you'll find a queen bed inside each tent, plus two single beds if you need them. Outside, both tents come with their own deck and outdoor bathtub, plus a barbecue and picnic table. And yes, the whole vibe is supremely rustic, as you'd expect while you're glamping on a deck with grass and trees around you as far as the eye can see.

In especially great news if you're holidaying in a group, there's also a shared bar and games house called 'Kookaburra Tavern' that everyone staying can use. It includes a dart board, bluetooth speakers, some basic provisions, a bar kitchen with a fridge, and its own barbecue and picnic table setup. There are also a bathroom facilities, of course, as well as a firepit and a swing.

Also, if you're keen to make the trip but you want to travel with a few more friends — and therefore need more room — there is also an option to bring your own extra tents with you.

Kookaburra Ridge is located in New South Wales, around a two-hour drive north from Sydney — and is now taking bookings, starting from $289 per night.
