Overview

The famous Taiwanese noodle chain arrived in Sydney way back in 2011 and has drawn in the masses. Its efficient, its delicious and its a lunchtime favourite for many an office worker around the city.

Plan to order up a storm. A must have are the xiao long bao pork dumplings, filled with hot broth and tasty pork filling. Take a small bite from the top, drink the broth from within, then down the remaining dumpling. Also worth your well-earned pennies? The shrimp and pork wonton soup or the vegetable and pork wonton dipped in a spicy sauce.

From the wok enjoy black pepper beef, Kung Lao chicken with cashew nuts, green bean and minced pork with dried shrimp and spinach with garlic. Noodle dishes include sliced beef noodle with sweet and tangy garlic sauce and a shredded pork noodle soup with spicy sauce. If fried rice is your thing than opt for the egg fried rice with shrimp or a vegetarian version.

Drinks and desserts are no less exciting. The lychee mint juice is hard to go past, and its BYO for wine, beer and birthday cakes, with a small fee. For dessert looks towards the steamed mini black sesame bun and golden taro bread, which are delicate but indulgent ways to finish up your meal.
