With the Victorian Government introducing the state's sixth lockdown from 8pm on Thursday, August 5 — for seven days, to respond to the latest COVID-19 cases — residents will need to quickly get reacquainted with that all-too-familiar five-kilometre bubble. Under the new restrictions, Victorians are required to stick within five kilometres of home. They're also only allowed to leave that home for five reasons: shopping for what you need, when you need it; caregiving and compassionate reasons; essential work or permitted education that can't be done from home; exercise; and getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Thankfully, you're allowed to do that last activity with one other person from outside your household, as long as you both stay within your respective travel bubbles.
