The late-night vibes feel just right at Grandfather's. Tucked into a Shibuya basement, this music-loving institution has stood the test of time.

Behind the bar, the owner digs through his sprawling vinyl collection, playing the best of 70s pop, rock and soul until the early hours. You're also welcome to write down a song request and the owner will happily flip through his LPs to see if he owns it on wax.

Drinks-wise, there's a healthy selection of whisky and classic cocktails.
