Overview

Wine lovers unite under the roof of the Michael Fowler Centre for the 2014 Kiwi and Aussie Winemakers Tour. The event is presented by Negociants New Zealand, one of the country’s top fine wine businesses, responsible for distributing for New Zealand’s most successful wineries as well as prestigious brands from Australia, Europe and USA. The company’s portfolio consists of over 400 wines, and they will be bringing more than 100 of those to the public at the Winemakers Tour.

The Australian wines that will be on show include Hunter Valley’s Brokenwood, Clare Valley’s Jim Barry, and Barossa Valley’s Langmeil. These will be accompanied by New Zealand favourites from all over the country, such as Black Barn, Opawa, Palliser Estate and Two Paddocks. Along with the wines on offer, will be a few specialty wine-related products, for those who do not wish to leave empty handed.

Not a winey? No worries, the show also offers Appletree Cider, Singha Thai Beer, No.3 London Dry Gin and Blue Duck Rare Vodka amongst other non-wine bevvies. As an added bonus, the ticket price includes all sample and light refreshments, so the event won’t be too hard on the wallet.
