Venturing through Wellywood, you'll hear the patter of hairy feet and the raucous laughter of merry shirefolk. Follow this sound, and you'll find yourself at The Roxy Cinema, the home and heart of Hobbit Day celebrations. As always, to commemorate the date, The Roxy is offering an epic three-day adventure — a marathon of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The extended editions, of course, my precious.

To keep your strength, The Roxy will be providing plenty of lembas bread and mead for your dinner and supper breaks. With a wonderful and award-winning menu, you'll be as happy as a hobbit in Farmer Maggot's crops. Of course, as one of the most beloved movie franchises and Kiwi creations, tickets will go fast. So don't wait, or you'll get one overenthusiastic Roxy staff member thundering "you shall not pass!" to rambunctious applause of other movie-goers.
