Overview

The expression 'I could do this blindfolded', has been taken very literally by Blindful; an Australian dance troupe who perform circus acts and impressive feats while blindfolded.

The award-winning group are in Wellington for five nights only, taking to the stage at BATS Theatre with their sight defying show My Sight - Their Sight (MSTS). You won't be able to look away as the performers willfully challenge their perception, physicality and trust.

Hot tip: If you're someone prone to squirming in their seat watching acrobatics, then invite along someone who doesn't mind being a living stress ball for the evening.

The underlying concept of MSTS is to create an understanding between those who are sighted and those who are not. Blindfolded for almost the whole piece, the trio of performers must adapt to their impairment and rediscover their highly physical and technical practice. The company's goal is to show that psychical boundaries do not have to be restrictions.
