Octopump III

Overview

Wellington's most anticipated handpull ale festival is back and better than ever. Unpasteurised and unfiltered, these cask conditioned brews will be pulled over the weekend of May 26 and 27. From 12pm Saturday (with an Octopump afterparty from 9pm-late) until 10pm Sunday, you've got all weekend to try the choices available.

It's the third year Octopump has taken place in Wellington. The idea comes from Victorian freehouse The Royal Albert, located on the borders of New Cross and Deptford in the UK.

Expect a lineup of UK pints, British bar snacks and music. Some of the breweries involved are: Fork Brewing, Baylands Brewery, Urbanaut, Wigram, Garage Project, North End, Townshends and Yeastie Boys. All at MOON 1 in Newtown, bring your mates to drink and be merry.
