Overview

As our nights are getting colder, nothing is more comforting than a warm, delicious meal cooked with love. On Saturday 26 May, Pomegranate Kitchen is offering you just that with its pop-up dining experience at the Island Bay Beach House. This evening is set to be a cosy family-style night with great food, music and storytelling.

Pomegranate Kitchen is a not-for-profit catering company which brings stunning flavours from the Middle East and Africa right to your door. Not only that, but it is a leading social enterprise, started by Ange Wither and Rebecca Stewart, self-professed foodies and former New Zealand Red Cross workers. The foundation of Pomegranate Kitchen is to support those with refugee backgrounds to bring flavours across the world to us lucky locals. As a result, the kitchen has created a community based upon fantastic cooking, eco-friendliness and family atmosphere.

So, here's your chance to pull up a chair to the table to enjoy the amazing company and food. You can also buy a seat for someone else who just also just needs a little treat.
