Overview

For ten days every year, Road to Beervana shows the national beer community how it's done with paired dinners, featured breweries, interactive themed bars, collaborations and general ex-beer-iences. It's all in the lead up to the country's largest craft beer festival, Beervana, a giant craft beer celebration held over two days at Westpac Stadium. For its seventh edition there are 35 beer-focused events taking place across Wellington from 3-12 August.

It's a common misconception that Road to Beervana is all about beer. The team from Framingham Winery will make the trip from Marlborough to host their annual harvest festival at Southern Cross. Together with Wellington's own beer/wine-making collective, Garage Project, the evening promises drinks, debauchery and an opportunity to meet the makers. There will be a lineup of new brews from Garage Project including the brewery's latest Whittakers collab, drops from Framingham's 'Nobody's Hero' range, and live entertainment from Funky Mama.
