Overview

There are lots of ways to measure a year, but how do you measure a show’s success? Is it tickets sold, awards won, or simply how much audiences love it? On all these counts, Jonathan Larsen’s musical Rent is a huge success. You might know it from its Broadway run or the 2005 film adaptation, and even if you don’t,  get excited — because soon it will be in Wellington.

Presented by The Wellington Footlights Society, this is their second full-scale musical production after bringing Pippin to the stage last year.

Take it or leave it, but don’t take too long — because with only five shows, seats will sell fast.
