Overview

Head to the Yayoi Kusama Museum in Shinjuku to discover five floors dedicated to the works of the famed Japanese artist.

The space opened in 2017 and hosts two exhibitions per year to showcase her works including polka dot-clad pumpkins galore. There is also a permanent infinity room and a rooftop gallery with an impressive view. There is also a stellar program of lectures and special events conveying Kusama's message of world peace.

Timed tickets can only be purchased on the museum's website and are snapped up quickly so make sure you plan your visit well in advance.
