Otis Dining Hall
An intimate fine diner in Canberra's Parliamentary Zone.
Overview
Otis Dining Hall is a fine dining restaurant in Kingston by national award-winning chef Damian Brabender.
Open Wednesday to Sunday, 6pm until late, the restaurant boasts an elegant and sophisticated fit-out with European charm — think dark wooden floors and tables that match the dark panelled walls, low lighting, mirrors and tan leather chairs. There's also a bustling bar, where you can have a pre- and post-dinner tipple.
This elegant approach is mirrored in the dishes on Brabender's seasonal menu. Like many fine diners, Otis simply lists the ingredients in the dishes on the menu, leaving the preparation and presentation a surprise until it lands in front of you. What is apparent, however, is the emphasis on using local produce, including truffles from The Truffle Farm Canberra.
