Located in Civic Square, bordering Canberra Central, is Canberra Theatre Centre, a performing arts and entertainment venue that hosts everything from comedy to circus, Broadway to ballet, and, of course, plenty of live music.
The Centre boasts a jam-packed schedule full of diverse acts. You'll find the works of Shakespeare and the Sydney Dance Company appearing in a lineup next to beloved Aussie stand-up comedians and satire-based musicals. So, something for everyone.
The Centre also plays an active role in the community with dedicated programs aimed to enrich the cultural life of the broader community in Canberra and its surrounding regions.
