Manuka Pool
Do some laps in Manuka's long-standing art deco public pool.
Overview
Manuka Pool is the art deco work of principal architect E H Henderson. Before the large outdoor pool opened in 1931 swimming holes such as Murrumbidgee Rivers were the only place to turn to for a cool dip. Now, the facilities are a go-to spot for local water lovers and social activities between October and March. The pool also features two hectares of lawn and a kiosk where swimmers can take a break from doing laps and indulge in an ice cream, coffee or cool drink.
