If your pans are overdue for an upgrade, Melbourne's west is about to do you a favour.Five Star Factory Direct is clearing more than $5 million of Baccarat stock — upwards of 5,000 pallets of it — across its Footscray and Truganina warehouses, with the Baccarat warehouse sale — a liquidation, not a seasonal special — running now until Thursday, July 2. There's no top-up of new stock waiting behind it: once a line sells through, it's gone for good. The numbers are silly in the right way. Baccarat's StoneX ten-piece cookset — $1,999.99 at full freight — is going for $250. The Kire knife block drops from $1,349.99 to $125. And the brand's nine-litre air fryer, usually $359.99, is down to $100. Dig further and there's a Culinarix five-piece cookset for $99 (down from $999.99), a 20-litre stainless steel air fryer oven for $150, cast iron from $65 and the NOOK cookware range in denim for $50. Individual Baccarat knives and Le Connoisseur cast iron lasagne dishes start at $20. The headline act lands tomorrow. On Saturday, June 13, the first 25 customers through the door at each warehouse take home a free nine-litre air fryer with any purchase — that's two warehouses, 50 air fryers and no catch beyond the queue (strictly while stocks last, and terms and conditions apply). It's the first of the sale's single-day weekend giveaways, so expect more where that came from. Melburnians have lined up for considerably less. Both warehouses are open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am–5pm — closed Mondays — and due to expected demand, getting in early is the move. Can't make it out west? The clearance is also running online at Baccarat's website. You'll find the warehouses at 7–9 Mephan Street, Footscray and 4 Magnesium Place, Truganina.
