Overview

Danish design has always been on the creative cutting-edge and at the Designmuseum, you can discover exactly how and why. The 17th-century building was previously Denmark's first public hospital and was converted in the 1920s into a beloved and iconic museum. It's here you'll find the best of Danish and international design and crafts.

DesignMuseum celebrates the rich heritage and evolution of Danish design spanning over 150 years of history. Explore a vast collection of artefacts, whether its fashion, furniture, industrial or graphic design. You will see works from the likes of Arne Jacobsen, Jacob Jensen and Kaare Klint. Plus, they just reopened early this year after major renovations, so there are some exciting events and exhibitions on the horizon.
