Overview

Situated just outside Valletta, The Phoenicia Malta is a luxury landmark set against the city's historic 16th-century bastions — often touted as Malta's most iconic hotel.

The hotel has been around since the 1920s, hosting Maltese locals, travellers and the occasional dignitary and celebrity.

Guests can choose to stay in one of the 132 rooms or suites designed in collaboration with Peter Young. Each offers soothing old-world elegance mixed with modern style and spacious bathrooms. Many rooms provide stunning views of Valletta, and if that view isn't enough, the walls are adorned with art by renowned Maltese artist Alexia Coppini and limited prints by Ken Maryanski.

Guests can unwind in the hotel's lush gardens, a serene escape within the bustling city, or explore the rich history and natural beauty of the Maltese Islands.
