Overview

The ruins of Dunluce Castle sit on a rocky outcrop and transport visitors to another time. With wind and spray whipping over the surrounding cliffs, this 16th-century fortress was once home to the warring McQuillan and MacDonnell clans.

Showcasing a myriad of archaeological exhibits and dramatic coastal views, it's no surprise Dunluce Castle was chosen to be the ancestral stronghold of House Greyjoy, Pyke, in the popular TV series Game of Thrones®.
