Overview
Constructed after World War I, the Grande Mosquée is a fascinating stop on any Paris visit.
Constructed in Spanish-Moorish style with a 33-metre minaret, it's hard to find a more tranquil setting anywhere in the city once you step through the gates.
Upon entry, you'll discover a dazzling interior courtyard adorned with emerald tiles flanked by fragrant wisteria and rose bushes.
Here, you'll also encounter a welcoming tea room, where you can order mint tea and traditional cookies to enjoy seated in the garden.
