Overview
A photo taken at this year's Glastonbury Festival in England has taken out the honour (albeit a new and rather obscure one) of having the most people ever tagged in an online photo. The picture is actually the combination of 36 images taken with two Hasselblad cameras stitched together to make a 1.3-gigapixel shot, capturing 70,000 people at the festival in surprising detail. 7,000 of those punters then logged onto Facebook and tagged themselves, in the process becoming part of the Guinness World Record-setting Glastotag event created by mobile network, Orange.
The two H4D-50 cameras used cost approximately US$30,000 each, and took the requisite 36 photos in under a minute with 50-megapixel sensors.
