Overview
The once-humble fishing village of Calasetta is now home to over 3000 residents, but that doesn't mean it has lost its charm. Situated in southwest Sardinia, Tabarkian and Ligurian traditions — specifically the local dialects and language — remain an important part of local culture.
The town itself is picturesque, with orange-tiled roofs and white houses stretching down the hill to the seaside. Swim in the turquoise waters of Spiaggia Grande beach, explore the Ancient City of Sulki or traverse the Sea Museum to learn more about the town's distinctive history.
