Overview
When in Italy, we eat pizza. And at Frankie's Pizza bar, you get pizza made in the traditional Neapolitan style, served in a craft beer pub.
What's traditional about the pizza? The method, the high hydration dough, the blazing hot stone oven to blister the pizza crust right, and the unassuming, old-school frontage, complete with the red and white sign. There's a wide mix of toppings, from the Lorenzo with mozzarella, smoked cheese, pistachio and mortadella to the Frankie's Bar special with tomato sauce, smoked cheese, red onion, nduja,] and rocket. Give the slightly wild Pizza del bimbo a try — it features mozzarella, wurstels and french fries.
There's even a full vegan range, as well as a sprawling menu of stuffed calzone, focaccia, bruschetta, fried antipasti, pasta, parmigiana and panini. To wash it all down, a solid range of local and international craft beers or classic cocktails are available, plus a few signature specials the bartenders can whip up.
