Overview

Between the Capo di Sorrento and Capo di Massa lies the charming little bay of Marina di Puolo. Easily reached by a scenic wander along a tree-shaded, tiled path, this lesser-known spot is the perfect place to slow down and laze the day away. Colourful buildings crowd the shore of this fishing village, while verdant plant life clings to the rocky slopes above. There's blue sky, blue sea, bobbing boats and an inviting stretch of volcanic sand. Linger in the warmth and rent an umbrella or sunbed, or splash into the safely sheltered waters for a dip. Watch the fishermen at work, then head to one of the nearby cafes to taste the fruits of their labour — the freshest seafood you can imagine. Or pack a picnic. This is your oasis, so do paradise your way.
