Overview

Set close to Cortina, the Croda da Lago hike is one of the most popular in the region, stretching 12.5 kilometres across a jagged mountain spine. Fascinating lookouts along the trail offer striking alpine perspective but the route also has some complex boulder fields to overcome, so start early if you want to take your time.

Near the halfway point, a charming refugio serves pasta, sandwiches and coffee, perfect for enjoying on the banks of Lake Federa.
