Taste Levain Bakery's Iconic Cookies Direct From NYC, as Air New Zealand and DoorDash Make an International Delivery
Benefit from quite possibly the world's longest food delivery, with this much-loved bakery's gooey creations available for one day only.
From a post-work meal to a late-night feed after a big night out, it doesn't usually take long to get food delivered straight to your couch with DoorDash. Yet a new partnership with Air New Zealand is offering tasty treats from slightly further away than your neighbourhood pizzeria.
Celebrating the launch of the airline's flagship New York to Auckland route, the duo have put together a global dash. Making the journey from Manhattan's Upper West Side, the famed cookies of Levain Bakery will soon touch down in Aotearoa.
And for frequent flyers who love to spend points rather than cash, the collaboration is offering DoorDash members the chance to earn one Airpoints Dollar for every $60 spent on DoorDash, making it just a little cheaper to visit NYC — or anywhere else Air New Zealand flies.

If you haven't yet made the pilgrimage to New York City, Levain Bakery is a local icon, renowned for its big, decadent cookies epitomised by crispy edges and soft, gooey centres. So, which creation is best? The original, of course — the six-ounce chocolate chip walnut cookie.
With the seatbelt sign on, Levain's sweet treats are tucked safely en route to Auckland, with Airpoints members invited to sample them at Commercial Bay from 11am–3pm on Thursday, October 2. Just show that you've added Airpoints numbers to your DoorDash account to score a free bite.
