TV3 Derby Day is the must-attend event of Auckland Cup Week 2013 – an action-packed day filled with the very best in horse racing, fashion, corporate hospitality and entertainment.
On the track it’s all about the glory as some of the country’s best three-year-old horses race head-to-head in New Zealand's premier race - the Group I $750,000 TV3 New Zealand Derby.
For fashionable racegoers, style, sophistication and coordination are three words that make a prize-worthy outfit. New Zealand’s fashions in the field final, the Prix de Fashion, is the ultimate racewear title with fashionistas from around the country competing for the winner-takes-all prize package valued at over $30,000. Entry into Prix de Fashion is free with pre-registration available at www.ellerslie.co.nz. Alternatively, entries are taken on the day from 10.30am.
For the ultimate Auckland Cup Week foodie experience, Taste of Auckland is bringing a gourmet taste sensation to Ellerslie. The Gourmet Village will feature a number of speciality producers and a boutique wine bar to delight the most discerning foodie audience, all to the backdrop of a prestigious day’s racing – a unique and exciting addition to Auckland’s summer social calendar.
The gorgeous Lindauer Lounge is back for 2013 and is the perfect space to meet with friends, enjoy a complimentary glass of New Zealand’s most-loved sparkling wine, make-up touch ups and remember the special moment with a photo.
