US rapper A$AP Rocky will be a world away from the streets of Harlem to ring in the New Year this December.
On his second visit to New Zealand for 2013 Rocky will be accompanied by an 11-piece live backing band and members of hip hop collective A$AP Mob to perform at the fourth annual La De Da festival, taking place at Martinborough’s Daisybank Farm over December 30 and 31.
Fresh from a ride on the European summer festival circuit and releasing her third studio album Automatic, Ladi6 is also set to make an appearance - as well as festival favourites Kora; Hamilton's and probably NZ's best known reggae band Katchafire; What So Not, the side project of Aussie producer Flume and Sydney DJ Emoh Instead; Melbourne-based Kiwi expat mixologist Opiuo; Canberra electro-duo Peking Duk; Mt Maunganui dance enthusiasts PleasePlease and Melbourne producer Nick Thayer.
