Overview

In support of their sophomore album Science and Survival (released July 4), London-based New Zealand rock band I Am Giant will perform nine show across the country.

The four-piece recorded the album between DC Shoes' Drop In Studios located in France as well as their own base in South London. It was co-produced by the band as well as their long time collaborator Forrester Savell, who has perviously worked with hard rock acts Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus and Helmut.

The band have invited Auckland’s Ekko Park to be the main support for the North Island shows, and will be joined by VNZMA Best Rock album winners Villany, Black River Drive and Setting Fire to Stacey for the Auckland show on August 2, 2014.

I Am Giant are also holding a competition via their Facebook page where local rock acts can win the chance to open the shows in their own city. See here for more details.
