Overview

It’s been six years since Brit-pop band The Kooks last played in New Zealand. In that time they’ve swapped out a few band members and released two albums, the latest being this year’s Listen. The album was recorded with London-based hip hop producer Inflo, resulting in a mix of R&B, gospel and jazz flavours throughout. It’s release was preceded by four singles - ‘Down’, ‘Around Town’, ‘Bad Habit’ and ‘Forgive & Forget’.

Ahead of playing four dates across Australia next January, the group will play a one-off show in Auckland at Vector Arena. They will be joined by NZ noise-punk trio Die! Die! Die!.
