For their fifth year of NZ Polo sponsorship (this year known as the Land Rover NZ Polo Open), Veuve Clicquot is introducing a Rio Carnaval theme to their popular Veuve Clicquot’s Marquee. A fashionable hat tip to the New Zealand team heading to the 2016 Olympics in Brazil later this year.

Adding further flair to their campaign, Veuve has commissioned three top New Zealand designer brands – Huffer, Kathryn Wilson and Deadly Ponies, to each create a fashion piece to be gifted to athletes working towards representing us at the Rio Olympics later this year – namely, Anita Punt, Lisa Carrington and Tony Dodds. Punt will receive a pair of Kathryn Wilson heels, Carrington a Deadly Ponies bag, and Dodds will be gifted a shirt from Huffer.

These unique designs will debut on the ‘yellow’ carpet at the event, along with the usual music, entertainment and Rio-inspired food. With access to the Veuve Clicquot marquee being exclusive, tickets are hard to come by. However, you can try your luck via Kathryn Wilson's Instagram account, where she is offering the chance to win tickets to the exclusive VC Marquee and a meet and greet with Kathryn Wilson herself.
