Waterfront Institution Euro Is Introducing a Chef's Table
Adding to the list of reasons to visit.
Euro has always been a reliable beacon of hope and quality in an area swamped by tourist eateries. A night at the restaurant always provides bragging rights and a safe and easy choice should you need to impress.
Adding to the list of reasons to visit, the waterfront institution has now launched a chef's table with executive chef Gareth Stewart. The experience is for those who are serious about food; diners will be seated at the open kitchen with a full view of Stewart plating up each individual course. They will have the chance to question him about what he's doing at each step, experience a range of dishes, hear about the ingredients sourced and get an insight into the methods.
The nine-course degustation focuses on Stewart's favourite produce. The menu will change with the seasons, but currently includes dishes such as parsnip bark with cultured cream and black garlic, smoked Te Mana lamb shoulder with green harissa and sheep's milk labneh, and crayfish raviolo with roast cauliflower and brown butter.
Euro's chef's table launches on 18 October every Wednesday. It will be available for bookings up to six people. For more information and bookings, visit the Euro website.
