Adventurer Bear Grylls is the next celebrity to feature in the popular Air New Zealand safety videos. And this time, the video leaves the air cabin behind, with the clip being filmed near the Routeburn Track in the South Island’s remote Fiordland area, home to some of New Zealand’s most stunning landscapes and hiking treks.

“The Bear Essentials of Safety” also offers the chance to win The Great Kiwi Bucket List, which includes a trip for two from anywhere in the world to New Zealand. To enter, the competition asks count how many scenes the Moa (the giant black bird) appears in before his true character is 'revealed'. The trip includes kayaking at Cathedral Cove, bungee jumps at Skipper Canyon, swimming with dolphins in Doubtful Sound, watching the first world's first sunrise of a new day at Wainui Beach and more. Here is a hint. We counted 5.
