Dan Carter has got his leg waxed and Adam Ashley Cooper is getting his wick out. This was the immediate headline we saw when stumbling across this fundraising campaign from premium candle, skin care and home fragrance brand ECOYA. Rugby enthusiasts, with a bit of coin, can bid to own their own piece of the rugby greats appendages, with a wax sculpture of Dan Carter's leg or the arm of Adam Ashley Cooper, all raising money for their respective charities (CANTEEN for Dan Carter, and Fresh Track's Foundation for Adam Ashley Cooper).

Sculptures of warriors and athletes is a centuries-old art form, and we have no doubt that their will be a significant amount raised for the charities, which is great to see. The auction opened on Sunday, August 12 2012 and will close on Saturday, August 18 2012, coinciding with this weekend's Bledisloe Cup match. For more information, or to have a bid, visit ecoya.com.
