Overview

New Zealand's favourite TV show in the whole wide span of New Zealand TV shows* (sorry Shorty St, but you really stood no chance), the Emmy-nominated Flight of the Conchords, is coming back. Or, more specifically, one half of The Conchords Jemaine Clement and Boy director Taika Waititi are teaming up for a yet-unnamed four-part comedy TV series with HBO. Clement and Waititi worked together in creating vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows, Waititi also directed many Flight of the Conchords episodes. So some Conchords' actors/writers and some other situations/actors/characters. But still.

HBO haven't formally announced the show yet, but Jemaine Clement recently confirmed the news in an interview with The Guardian. “It was supposed to be this year but then we decided to put What We Do in the Shadows out ourselves.” Jemaine confirmed that he would love to work with Bret in the future, but did not say anything about his involvement with his current HBO project.

Jemaine? Present. HBO? Present. Bret? To be confirmed.
