Sean Connolly’s Gusto at the Grand Opens this Weekend

Sitting inside the lobby of the SKYCITY Grand Hotel comes a new addition to Auckland's already thriving Italian scene. Neighbouring popular establishments such as The Fed, MASU and The Grill, renown chef Sean Connolly adds Gusto at the Grand into the mix.

Boasting a philosophy on simplistic food with classic favours and fresh ingredients, stylish and rustic fit out designed by Moller Architects, the Federal Street precinct continues to be one of the leading streets of dining experiences in Auckland. Other features include a giant four metre oil on linen octopus art piece titled 'Love in Venice', a 28 seat private dining room (photo above) and a open vista into the kitchen, enabling a sneak peak into the chef's food preparation.
