Look, we could be mad. We could have been angry when LCD Soundsystem — the legendary band that called their final show at Madison Square Garden back in 2011 — turned up on the 2016 Coachella lineup. We could have been mildly annoyed when they announced they were reuniting last year. And we could have been pissed when they showed up on this year's Splendour in the Grass lineup and played shows in Sydney and Melbourne — avoiding New Zealand altogether. But we're not. We can't be — we're just so goddamn happy the band's back together.

And now, six years after playing the Big Day Out, they've announced that they'll be back in 2018. The band will return to New Zealand in February for one headline show at Auckland's Spark Arena on Saturday, February 24. Call all your friends.

Joining Brooklyn's beloved dance-punk icons for the one-off show will be Australian electro-soul artist Nick Murphy, formerly known as Chet Faker.

Tickets will sell out so get your fingers ready for 3pm on November 27 if you're a Frontier member, or, for everyone else, 1pm on November 30.
