Music and art festival Chronophonium takes the very best alternative and indie acts and throws them together for two days of madness at Tapu in Coromandel. The for-fun-not-for-profit event follows a do-it-together ethos and aims to be a special time and place for the freest of spirits to thrive. The first line-up for the 2015 incarnation has been announced and includes acts spanning New Zealand, France, the US and UK.

In short, you can see '60s flavoured Dunedin band Ha the Unclear, sun-soaked pop-band Fazerdaze, bedroom beatmaker Totems, digi-noise three-piece Proton Beast, Brooklyn telepathic sibling duo Tonstartssbandht and a whole lot more, including...

Traps PS (US), Centre Negative, Caitlin Blake, Thundercub, Males, The Admiral, ENT , Finnbarr Johansson, New Gum Sarn, Tawahinga, T.A.B, Groeni, Open, Saturnian Noise Collective, Al-Zev, Diana Tribute, Kraus, Shacklock Meth Party, Bargain Bin Laden, Kieran Tahir, Golden Axe, Fuyoko's Fables, Will and Reece, Shoutin' Preachin', Slavedriver, Vowel Movement (Aus), Mongo Skato, Rosen (UK), Deputy, Civil Union, Liam Bowen, Huf and Brown, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Dad Jokes, Francois and the Atlas Mountains (Frn), Emily Edrosa, David Merrit, Career Girls, Lilo Peaks.
