The Superstylin news we needed today: Legendary electronic music duo Groove Armada are returning to Aotearoa for a spring tour taking them through both the North and South Islands.

Bringing their full live band experience as part of their 25 Years farewell tour, the British duo will play Christchurch's QEII Park on November 24, Napier's Church Road Winery on November 25, Auckland's Spring City Music Festival on November 26, and Wellington's TSB Arena on November 27.

That means no matter where you're at in the country, it's only a short sojourn to hear such legendary dance tracks as 'Superstylin', 'I See You Baby' and 'At The River'... all for the first time since the electronic duo were here for Big Day Out (RIP).

Oh and consider this your Spring City announcement at the same time: The Auckland music festival will be taking place in a new home at the Auckland Domain on Saturday, November 26. More info on that one is yet to be announced, but you can register for pre-sale on the official website.

If you need a little music history 101, Tom Findlay and Andy Cato established Groove Armada while at university in the 90s. Since then, they've become one of the world's biggest dance acts and have gone on to have three UK Top 10 albums, three Grammy nominations, a BRIT nomination and a succession of hit singles.

They've been taking their farewell tour around the UK this year.

Groove Armada will tour New Zealand in November. Pre-sale tickets will be available on August 1, while general tickets (including general tickets for Spring City music festival) go on sale through Endeavour Live on August 3.
