Haters gna Hate

Some bogan, yet funny responses to the Rhythm and Vines lineup announcement.

The Rhythm and Vines 2012 lineup has been released, and by gollygosh, have we been spoilt, with the likes of Mark Ronson, The Presets, Chase and Status, Tame Impala and local heavyweights Kimbra and Six 60. However, you probably wouldn't think it, with haters on the Rhythm and Vines Facebook page letting rip with some grossly abusive, yet surprisingly amusing commentary.

Experience tells me that haters are going to hate, so you just need to sit back, read and simply enjoy the shortsightedness and sometimes boldly clever responses to the festival's apparent lack of headliners. Will R&V fall in to the trap of trying to satisfy New Zealand's heady demand for its festivals to deliver killer, unrealistic lineups, or will they play it cool and just maintain what has been a winning formula for the past ten years, after all, they know how to pick winners don't they (I'm talking about you Mr Lazer, Ms Santigold and Mr Tempah).

Either way, enjoy some of New Zealand's finest lineup commentators on offer and see you in Gisborne:
