After performing in every corner the planet off the back of smash single ‘Royals’, and accompanying album Pure Heroine, pop megastar Lorde will perform her first ever headline tour in New Zealand.

The all-ages arena shows have been boasted as her largest stage production to date, flaunting cutting edge lighting and technology. It will stop by the country’s four main centres - Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Auckland. They come after a string of 23 dates across the US and will be her last shows for 2014.

She said of the hometown performances, "I've been itching to do a New Zealand tour ever since the Silo Park show, which was the most amazing crowd I've had yet. Kiwi audiences are the best, and I'm so happy to be playing the final shows for Pure Heroine here. It's only right I come full circle, back to where it all started".

Ever since the release of her debut The Love Club EP, Lorde has been on an upward trajectory of success. Her breakthrough single 'Royals' spent nine consecutive weeks at the #1 spot in the US Billboard charts, racked up multi-platinum sales in multiple territories, and saw her pick up Best Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
