As the weather is decidedly more ave, stay inside and warm up with these tight tracks.

How to Dress Well - Cold Nites

How to Dress Well aka Tom Krell is an experimental pop producer and singer from Brooklyn.  His debut album Love Remains was released in 2010, and with Cold Nites' recent release (from the upcoming album Total Loss out 17 September) he has absolutely nailed it.

The Antlers - Drift Dive

Staying in Brooklyn, The Antlers release of their EP "Undersea" and this track Drift Dive has a certain ambient, tranquil sound for your next road trip.

Alt-J - Something Good

Alt-J's recent album "An Awesome Wave" is on constant loop at the moment. The 4-piece from Cambridge, England are full of an electrifying and unique sound, that at times is almost folky.  Joe Newman's vocals are eerie and utterly mesmerizing.  Something Good is undoubtedly a hit and "Breezeblocks", "Matilda" and "Tessellate" are also must listens.

Kids of 88 - Tucan

Auckland's own Kids of 88 really notch it up with Tucan, off their Modern Love album. Getting huge traction on the radio waves, Tucan is a happy tribal tune that will no doubt bring a smile to your face on that Monday morning crawl to work.

RAC - Hollywood (Felix Da Housecat Remix)

Loving this remix of RAC's awesome tune Hollywood with Felix giving it the feel good treatment.

Santigold - The Keepers (The Knocks Remix)

A dancey little number from Santigold - another single from her awesome album Master of My Make-Believe. This remix by The Knocks should have you on the table.

Frank Ocean - Thinkin Bout You

Frank Ocean's debut studio album Channel Orange has just been released and while this single has been around a little while, it is definitely worth jumping on if you haven't had a listen yet.

The XX - Angels

One of the most anticipated releases of 2012 for me, The XX are set to drop their second album . It will be interesting to see how this backs up from their incredible self-titled debut album, but if Angels is anything to go by, we're onto a winner.

The M Machine - Faces

A dubsteppy affair, San Fran's The M Machine have released the first half of their debut album, a six track EP titled Metropolis Pt. I (notably on Skrillex's label). It is definitely more mellow than what the label's famous DJ releases, but has more than enough oomph to get your party cranking.

Alt-J - Fitzpleasure

Alt-J are seriously that good, so here is Fitzpleasure, also taken from An Awesome Wave.  This is a punchy, heavy track with moments of quirkiness. To be honest, I'm not really sure how to describe it, so chuck it on the headphones and see for yourself.

Disclosure - Boiling (Medlar Remix)

This sweet little mix of Boiling is on Disclosure's upcoming remix release The Face - Remixes EP.  Loving it.
